Back from a fun weekend in Copenhagen. The Mikkeller Beer Celebration 2017 was a blast with great breweries taking some of their best beers and a lot of new releases, beers especially made for this festival. This is really the perfect place to be if you're into beer, whether or not you are working with it professionally or just enjoying the art of craft beer. To get to taste all these amazing beers and to talk to other brewers and enthusiasts transfers a lot of energy and inspiration. Big thanks to Mikkel, Jacob, Mia and the team for organizing such a fantastic festival.
This week we have two events coming up. On Wednesday and Thursday, Stockholm Brewers Festival are having a Tap takeover at Lådan where all the Stockholm-based breweries are taking over one or two taps. We're bringing our Drop Coffee Sour and our house beer Saison d'Etre. For you who haven't yet been to Lådan, go! It's Flippin Burgers sister restaurant, quality fast food and craft beer and soda on tap.
On Friday, we're opening up the Brewpub again and this time together with Natur & Kultur and three of their chefs and cook book writers. Jonas Cramby is celebrating the release of his new book Japansk Grillning by cooking Yakiniku and Yakitorib outside the brewery on a barbeque; Stefan Ekengren from Hantverket will serve deep-fried Hasselback potatoes; and Petrus Jakobsson will make some of his delicious Catalanes. You will also be able to buy all of their cook books. So beer, books and food down in the brewery this Friday! Doors open from 17-21.
And next week on Wednesday it's time for Öl-Bonanza at Speceriet. Five of our beers paired with delicious food from Speceriet. Sittings at 18.00 and 20.30. Book your table at 08-6623060 or at speceriet.se. There will be some drop-in places as well but if you snooze you lose!
