Week 14 - Beef, beers and beats

Firstly, thanks to everyone who came to the brewpub on Friday when we raised 600 dollars for People Like Us Brewery in Denmark, which will be staffed by people with autism and people with other vulnerabilities.

Mimmi, Olly and Michel cooked up a storm with the centrepiece being a Beef Anything But Bourguignon (ten different red wines, none from Burgundy) Liene (Olly's better half) provided a Moroccan lentil stew as a veggie option (thanks babe!)

This was made possible thanks to kind donations from our trade customers who donated ingredients and positive vibes. Thanks to Christian and the team at Fotografiska, Chris at Whitmans Deli, Göran and team at Svartengrens, the Urban Deli Nytorget massive and last but definitely not least, the Beatles butcher boys at Lennart Och Bror for that kick ass aged Chump steak! Also great thanks to Bageri Petrus for the wonderful bread to soak up the juices.

The guys at People Like Us were super happy and it feels really nice to be able to support fellow brewers a bit.

Some of you may have tried the test batch on the opening of the brewpub this year but now the real deal is out and it's tasting even better. A Berliner Weisse, 3,5%, with flowery Bolivian coffee from Drop Coffee and just a bit dry hopped. We will bottle it on Wednesday so keep an eye out for it at bars, restaurants and folkölsbutiker.

Brewpub this week is with our friends and neighbours from Hummus Reggev. For those of you who haven't yet been to their place, go! It's on Ringvägen 145, they're making the best hummus and soon they're opening a new place downtown.

We'll also be pouring some of our beers, including the new Drop Coffee Sour, at the Friday after work at Urban Deli Nytorget with lovely Johanna and her staff. Come and meet us there or pop down to the brewery or do both!

Have a good week!
