Week 17 - Beers, festivals and stuff going on

Last Friday we pre-released one of our new Cellar Series beers on Katarina Ölkafé. Barrel-Aged Hallonsour is a Berliner Weisse aged in Champagne barrels for nine months and further three months with organic raspberries. A more funky and complexed version of our regular Hallonsour and one of the beers we're bringing to some of the up-coming beer festivals.

Another beer we just laid our hands on is the Saison with oysters and kombu we did with Brew By Numbers. The 75cl bottles arrived yesterday and we're really siked.

First out is the Tallin Craft Beer Weekend, 5-6th of May. The festival is organized by Pohjala Brewery and the biggest craft beer festival in the Baltic region. The weekend after that it's time for the new version of CBC which now is called Mikkeller Beer Celebration, 12-13th of May. And last but not least, Stockholm Brewers Festival Katarina Kegger, 2nd-3rd of June. Really looking forwards to attend all of these. Buy your tickets now and join us for some awesome beer celebrations!i

This Friday the brewpub is open as usual and Katarina Ölkafé are cooking some delicious smoked and stout-braised brisket. Veggie alternative is grilled sweet potatoes with honey and goat cheese. We also have some great posters of our labels made by Marcus Gunnar Pettersson left so kill no less than three birds with one stone and get your Friday beers, food and posters at the brewery!
